General Chappie James was born and raised in Pensacola, FL, most people that live here are unaware of who he is and the contributions he gave to this country. He became the first African American Four Star General of the United States Air Force in 1975. He was a Fighter Pilot and served in the military from 1943 – 1978. Our mission and goal are to create awareness of him and give attention to his legacy.
